I am a former coal miner and worked in two collieries until closure. Now retired I collect Welsh colliery brass miners lamp checks as a hobby, I buy single lamp checks and collections to improve my own collection. I pay excellent prices and a lot more money than antique shops and dealers, I pay up to £550 for rare lamp checks. I also have double checks to swap or sell.
