Kizamba is a vibrant Latin and Afro-Caribbean band from Penzance, comprised of 8 talented multi-instrumentalists. Our performances are a musical voyage across South America and the Caribbean, featuring lively Cuban salsa, soulful sambas, Latin jazz, rhythmic Colombian cumbias, and the infectious energy of reggae and calypso.
Kizamba creates an immersive experience-via our engaging dance workshops and our interactive performances, bringing communities together. We have delighted audiences across Cornwall, including at major festivals like Tropical Pressure and Boardmasters.

The evening will start with a dance line up giving you some of the basic steps of Salsa to work with for the evening. Kizamba will then go on to perform a set of Salsa, Samba, Reggae, Ska, Calipso and Cumbia tunes taking you on a musical journey across the Caribbean Islands, into Latin America and up to the clubs of New York were latin met jazz and funk.
